Maya Character Artist required
• modelling high resolution characters
• photorealistic textures
• Mocap clean up /Keyframe animation
Creating photorealistic characters for Architectural visualisations.
Modelling high resolution characters with a good sense for well deforming meshes and clean topology
-Create optimized UV maps
-Create photorealistic textures using photographs for reference and/or as base image
-Bind and weightpaint character geometry to existing joint rigs.
-Populate scenes with various amounts of animated characters using existing motion capture data as well as keyframe animation
-Import and export geometry and animation between different packages
-Troubleshoot and come up with solutions for various problems and being part in optimising the character pipeline
Requirements:
* Excellent modeling and texturing skills.
* At least a 3 years experience with Autodesk Maya.
* Lightwave experience
* Animation experience
* XSI experience a plus
* MEL experience a plus
* Knowledge of different encoders a plus
Most importantly
Self-driven, good communicator and a great team-player. Good at self organisation and scheduling work in order to keep deadlines
